Nice early dated British MkII helmet with flash to the Royal Engineers. The helmet is in good used condition. The shell is maker marked RO&CO 'Rubery Owen Co.Ltd.(Leeds)' dated 1939.
Its original liner is also in good used condition and maker marked by 'BH&G. Barrow Hepburn & Gale Ltd. London' dated 1939. The oval pad made of leather covered sponge rubber is present. The chinstrap has been replaced. The Royal Engineers flash is in used condition and shows normal scratches due usage.
The soldier's name is written on the outside of the helmet.
